How to Incorporate Restorative Wellness into Your Routine?
There are several ways to incorporate restorative wellness practices into your routine. One of the most popular practices is nervous system regulation, which promotes relaxation, flexibility, and mindfulness. You can also try prayerful meditation, which involves focusing on your breath and clearing your mind to reduce stress and anxiety.
Here are some tips to help you incorporate restorative wellness practices into your routine:
Deal with trauma first: This will allow you time and space to think clearer and allow your nervous system to relax. Once you aren’t so overwhelmed everything else becomes easier. It is easier than you think when you find a practitioner that is focused on inner healing and partnering with the Holy Spirit.
Incorporate nervous system regulation: practices on a regular basis. These exercises make an immediate difference in mental clarity and over relaxation. You can find many more like this in my Healing Academy Course.
Box Breathing: Put one hand on your stomach and one hand on your chest. Breath into your bottom hand as you inhale. As you exhale breath out through your top hand. Repeat for 4-5 breaths. Then move your bottom hand to your forehead and repeat the same process.
Make time for yourself: Give yourself permission to prioritize your own wellness and self-care. Start a journal and work through pent up emotions and spend time with the Lord each day.
Incorporating restorative wellness practices and nervous system regulation into your routine can have a significant positive impact on your overall well-being and stress levels.
