What is Restorative Wellness?

Restorative wellness is a holistic approach to physical and mental health that involves a combination the spirit, soul and body. Most health coaches and professionals out there will only tell you how to eat and exercise. There are few that get to the root causes of health issues.

By getting to the root issues, restorative wellness and nervous system regulation aims to enhance your overall well-being, promote relaxation, and reduce stress levels.

Benefits of Restorative Wellness and nervous system regulation:

Has a wide range of benefits for both physical and mental health. Some of the key benefits of this approach include:

-Reduced stress levels

-Improved sleep quality

-Increased energy levels

-Boosts immune system

-Reduced inflammation and pain

-Enhanced mental clarity and focus

How to Incorporate Restorative Wellness into Your Routine?

There are several ways to incorporate restorative wellness practices into your routine. One of the most popular practices is nervous system regulation, which promotes relaxation, flexibility, and mindfulness. You can also try prayerful meditation, which involves focusing on your breath and clearing your mind to reduce stress and anxiety.

Here are some tips to help you incorporate restorative wellness practices into your routine:

Deal with trauma first: This will allow you time and space to think clearer and allow your nervous system to relax. Once you aren’t so overwhelmed everything else becomes easier. It is easier than you think when you find a practitioner that is focused on inner healing and partnering with the Holy Spirit.

Incorporate nervous system regulation: practices on a regular basis. These exercises make an immediate difference in mental clarity and over relaxation. You can find many more like this in my Healing Academy Course.

Box Breathing: Put one hand on your stomach and one hand on your chest. Breath into your bottom hand as you inhale. As you exhale breath out through your top hand. Repeat for 4-5 breaths. Then move your bottom hand to your forehead and repeat the same process.

Make time for yourself: Give yourself permission to prioritize your own wellness and self-care. Start a journal and work through pent up emotions and spend time with the Lord each day.

Incorporating restorative wellness practices and nervous system regulation into your routine can have a significant positive impact on your overall well-being and stress levels.

By following these tips and incorporating restorative wellness practices into your daily life, you can improve your overall well-being and enjoy the benefits of this approach for a long time. Check out my podcast for more tips.

Jen Bayer

My name is Jen Bayer. I am a Wife, Mom to two boys, and Holistic Health Coach and the founder of Exalted Health.  I struggled for YEARS with body image issues, and chronic health issues. For over 30 years I tried every diet and fitness program available to try to finally "arrive" at a weight I thought would make me happy. The Lord started to speak to me about this area of my life years ago, and since then has brought so much freedom to my life. I have worn many different sizes over the years, and I feel more freedom now in a larger size than I ever did when I wore a smaller size.  I now rest in the fact that my value and worth comes from Christ alone. No number on the scale, no pants size or achievement can bring the peace and rest that He can.  I have been a business owner in the health and nutrition field since 2008. I have helped thousands of people transform their health, and their faith walk. My mission and greatest desire is to lead women to the cross, and in a deeper healing journey with Jesus. I have been trained in biblically sound unique methods to guide you in your healing process, and to teach you to walk in greater authority in Christ.
